Food Items:
Please make sure
your mom has a look at this list once!!!
Based on the type of food you eat, you
can add more items, but don’t bring any that can be spoilt in few days. I have
not added the total weight as it can change . But Make sure it is between 8 to
10 kilos as normally this would be costly in Germany and we will go back to
india normally after 1 year when u visit Germany first time.
Buy all the packets in smaller package
50g or 100g or if it is home made make sure it is packed in aluminium packs in
smaller quantity like 100 g packs. Once you open a masala , it loose the smell
and taste slowly even when kept in air tight boxes here.
Toor Dal or Sambar Dal is basic item
throughout India, so I woud suggest to bring least 1 kg . Ready to Eat Items
like Garlic Rice powder or Lemon Rice powder or Thooku (thick curry/gravy
pastes) which you can mix with rice or eat with chapatti is something u need in
initial days so you have more time to organise yourself in first.
What to do in Initial days like house
search, visa, stuffs in college and transportation is part of this series. Make
sure to watch the full play list to live happily in Germany. The Next Video is
on Electronics.
